Once the pen name of multi-instrumentalist Joseph Hirabayashi but now a full-fledged four-piece, jo passed is a revelation in experimentalism, creating music from the dichotomy between airy vocals and gloomy cacophony. Having previously played Sled with experimental punk band The SSRIs and the neo-psychedelic group Sprïng, Hirabayashi and crew now punch out notes and noise with even greater aplomb.
