Born and raised in a family of musicians in Beijing, flutist Jiajia Li (Ginger Beef) spent her young life marinating in her parents’ musical training and influences. As a young adult, she left her hometown (and parents’ watchful eye) in search of her true musical self. With flutes and electronics, JJL is her most recent project, and serves as a continuation of her self-exploration and musical experimentation.
