Shovel Talk: An Estrus Records Discussion
The guys behind the Estrus Records coffee table book, Shovelin’ The Shit Since ’87, are bringing the brand-new paperback version to Sled Island for a unique affair!
Ahead of The Mummies show at The Palomino on June 19, join author Chris Alpert Coyle, designer Scott Sugiuchi, Calgary’s undisputed Sire of Smells Al Von Zipper, and Estrus Records head honcho Dave Crider for Shovel Talk — where the guys will discuss what went into the making of the book, and take questions from the audience. DJ duo Crider & Zipper will kick things off with an onslaught of 45 RPM madness at 5pm, with the discussion starting at 5:30pm. Buy a book and get it signed by the authors!
