Prairie-born KT Laine makes superb, confessional bedsit pop that punches at the same weight as Courtney Barnett, Margo Price and Phoebe Bridgers. Her songs haunt like a late-night heart-venting over a fourth bottle of red wine and a backdrop of a moonlit sleeping city. It’s beautiful, beautiful stuff.
