Listening to Swim Team feels like stumbling into the middle of a standoff. The band’s rhythm section will lull you with a locked groove while vocalist Dorothy Neufeld speak-sings calmly, only for it all to blow up into yelps and grinding guitars. Getting pulled apart never felt so good.
