Calgary has a strong post-punk scene and many of its members are fucking with the formula. Subjectivity is one of the most brazen of those, adding a jazzy flair to their stop-start snarling. 2017’s Fiv​.​e​.​.​5on​.​g​.​s is full of instrumental tics, never letting a groove sit too long or become too comfortable. A forthcoming 2018 release will inevitably add a new dimension of chaos to their already experimental sound.
