soft cure is a colourful band of misfits that reverse-engineers noise into pop music. The lo-fi recordings of Seth Cardinal are brought to life on stage with help from costumed bandmates Ana Villanueva and Andy Lehman. They combine hazy guitars and vocals with a buoyant rhythm section and a helping of performance art, finding gleeful tension in their contradicting elements.
