Ask attendees of last year’s Sled Island what their favourite set was and you’re likely to get the answer “Blü Shorts.” The local faves have managed to win over the hearts of Calgarians with their searing blend of no wave and post-punk psychedelia, but it’s their belligerent live show that has made about half of the city into lifelong fans.
