Jazz Cartier makes music distinctly of the current generation of hip-hop. There's just enough auto-tune, trap beats and wavey production tricks keep the sounds he rides feeling like a party, but Cartier's delivery is a little more difficult to pin down. He moves from rat-a-tat flows to just plain screaming his lungs out into the mic. We’re looking forward to seeing the range he recently showed on Marauding in Paradise here at Sled Island.
