The Besnard Lakes center around husband & wife duo Jace Lasek and Olga Goreas. The pair honed their recording skills in their own Breakglass Studio, tracking albums for essential Montreal artists like Wolf Parade, The Unicorns and a whole lot more. For the last ten years, they've been crafting their own full band albums with grand sound design (two of which have been nominated for the Polaris Prize). The Besnard Lakes pull from all of rock's history but make shoegaze and psych essential elements of their larger than life sound.
