Her smoky soul stylings received a massive influx of attention after her song “Lowkey” (from the excellent EP Primary) was included in an episode of HBO’s Insecure. The singer, rapper, producer and art school dropout continues to work in her own lane of vintage-inspired R&B and hip-hop with no mind paid to the new glare of the spotlight upon her.
