Faith Healer’s Jessica Jalbert is no stranger to Sled Island. Her psych-pop project has been responsible for some of the finest sets and widest smiles in past iterations of the festival. So no, it’s not the recent Edmonton Music Prize runner-up nod or her history playing in some of the festival’s favourite projects (Tee-Tahs, Jom Comyn) that has us counting the sleeps until Faith Healer’s return—it’s the promise of hearing brand new songs from her forthcoming and sure-to-be-stunner album.
