Singer-songwriter Cedric Noel incorporates elements of shoegaze and ambient music into his barebones take on indie rock. His most recent album Hang Time was released by Joyful Noise in 2021 and includes contributions from members of SUUNS and Common Holly. It’s a great starting point for the prolific artist (who has numerous full-lengths to his name) as it exemplifies the understated power of his soulful voice and minimalist instrumentation.
