Moderated by Stacey Forrester, registered nurse and harm reduction lead for Bass Coast Festival, this workshop will introduce the basic concepts of harm reduction in an approachable way that offers tangible skills to community members. The session will cover commonly used substances, warning signs, strategies to minimize harm and how to intervene when someone you know (or don't know) runs into trouble. Proper consent practices will also be discussed.
