1) How much are single show tickets going to be?

Single show tickets will be a bunch of different prices but we're going to try to keep things pretty cheep for walk up events.

2) Are the single show ticket prices changing from venue to venue or in accordance to how popular or in demand the performer is? And where can said individual passes be purchased?

Individual tickets for certain shows will be on sale through ticket master on June 1st.

3) Is there going to be an "Afterparty" venue like last year?

4) What's the line up for the main stage?

The main stage line ups are posted at www.sledisland.com.

5) Can 1 day Main stage passes be bought from ticketmaster or does 'one' have to purchase a 2 day pass? and if so what is the cost?

There will be single day tickets available on June 1st. Friday Tickets are $75 plus tax and Ticketmaster service charge. Saturday tickets are $80 plus tax and Ticketmaster service charges.

6) I see on some bands myspace or other websites that offer concert listings that some bands have exact dates listed for sled island and some acts even list multiple performances? How reliable are these resources?

It's not official until it's printed in the program guide.

7) Are you guys still looking for volunteers? How do I sign up? do I get in to shows for free if I volunteer?

8) What's the deal with 'All Ages' shows?

All Ages shows are shows that people of all ages can attend, as opposed to bar shows where age is restricted to 18+.

9) Does the early bird pass ($140) access me to the same benefits as the full festival pass ($190) ???

Yes it does, it is in fact a Full Festival pass that was priced lower for those of you who were wise enough to buy early!

10) What is the ideal for changing the festival from a thurs/fri/sat/sun to wed/thurs/fri/sat format?

Sunday is the Lords day and a day of rest. Plus, we've always thought Wednesday's are fun.

11) How long are main stage sets going to last?

About an hour per band on the main stage.

12) Will there be a map put up on the web site of mewata field setup?

We will try. It's not a huge place though so you probably won't need a map.

13) Will there be any surprise late additions?

Probably not, but we are going to keep secret about certain shows.

14) Any type of transportation shuttle system from show to show?

Bikes and feet are our choices. We've done our best to keep everything very central and within walking distance.

15) are main stage shows ending at 10.45 because of noise restriction bylaws?

Yes.

16) How is admittance at large shows but small venues going to work aka The Rza?

We will hold back a good amount of space for Full Festival Pass holders and we will sell some individual tickets at ticketmaster. If you have a ticket you will be let in. Pass holders will be let in based on capacity (but there will be an allotted amount of spots for passholders so get there early and you will probably get in).

17) Is there going to be any contest involved with Sled island via radio, newspaper other media outlets?

There are lots of contests. We will try to keep info posted at www.sledisland.com.

18) What is going to be the main indoor venue this year?

Hard to say what the 'main' one is. The legion shows are spectacular though.

19) Do festival passes access you to the art exhibits?

Yes!

20) What time will Art exhibits be open till?

We will make sure to have all this information in the program guide.

21) Can I bring my dog?

Although we love the little beasts we want them to be safe and happy- a big rock show simply isn't a good place for pets.

22) Crazy Carpet?

You can bring something to sit on (a festival chair with legs 6 inches or lower, a blanket, etc), but your crazy carpet might not be that comfortable and we won't have any tobogganing on site.

23) Is there going to be band/ fan interaction scheduled at any point?

Not officially, but the band members will be hanging around town going to various restaurants and bars. Many bands consist of very lovely people who would likely be glad to say hi.

24) Where can I be seen?

There are lots of reflective surfaces all around Calgary.

25) Can we ban skinny jeans?
