Hey guys! There's THREE WAYS TO ATTEND SLED ISLAND.
1) Festival Pass (either $199 VIP or $99 festival pass) -- this grants you access to all of the concerts, art exhibitions, film screenings. The VIP jumps you to the front of the line and guarantees you access, the general pass gets you into anything subject to capacity.
2) Main-Site Only Pass -- this grants you access to the Olympic Plaza show on Friday, June 26th ONLY. Acts performing include: The Breeders, Liars, Holy Fuck, Anvil, M5, Biz Markie, Malajube, The Summerlad.
3) Individual Tickets -- If there's only one band you want to see (really? out of 250 bands?), you can still go to see them! Advanced tickets for select shows are available here. If you bought an advanced ticket, you get in no matter what! Tickets at the door will be available for shows that have not filled with passholders.
Click on the option that best suits your needs! If you would like to purchase a pass through less internetty means, you can buy a pass with cash, credit or debit cards at Broken City (613 11th ave SW). Passes there are $99 plus handling/fees ($5.50) and GST.
The general festival pass grants you access to every concert, art show, film screening at Sled Island SUBJECT TO CAPACITY. You'll be fine to get in to our main site at Olympic Plaza on Friday, but if your heart is set on one specific band playing a club show, show up early to make sure you get in - we are selling a lot of these but some of our venues are small or can't fit everyone in (like the Factory Party)! That said, we have tons of great shows every night at venues all over the city and there are lots of options.
After purchasing a wrist band, please pick up your festival package (and
wristband) June 23,24 or 25 at Broken City (613 11th ave SW) between
noon and 7pm. To pick up your wristband the person who purchased the
tickets must bring valid photo ID.
OR
The festival's very limited VIP passes guarantee you access to each
and every concert, art show, and film screening at Sled Island! This is
for hardcore music fans who want to guarantee themselves access not
only to the main site on June 26th, but also every show going on around
town during the 4 days of Sled Island. You'll even jump to the front
of lines!

There are also two far less exciting ways to come out to Sled Island:
...if you're only in town on Friday, June 26th, you can purchase
a main-site only pass. This grants you access to Olympic Plaza for the
show w/ The Breeders, Liars, Holy Fuck, Anvil, Biz Markie and more. It'll be a good'n! If you purchase this, then day of, come out to Olympic Plaza with a photo ID that matches the ticket purchaser and you'll be good to go!
OR
If you're either in town for just one day, can't find a sitter for the kids for most nights of the festival or are simply not adventurous, you can buy individual tickets to select shows. Please keep in mind that even just seeing one show + going to one after-party at the Legion justifies the cost of a full pass. Only those shows listed by clicking on the above link have advanced tickets. The individual tickets work on a will-call basis, which means that you won't get a physical ticket, but be asked to show up at the venue with an ID that matches the purchaser's info!
