Filmmaker Drew McIntosh accompanies Edmonton's indie rock 7and7is to Cuba as they experience the rise of rock and roll in Cuba since the 1990's when Fidel Castro erected a statue of John Lennon in Havana. In December 2007, 7and7is, became the first foreign rock band to tour Cuba. They played 7 shows in 5 cities and made a footnote in Rock and Roll history.
