The Sled Island Poster Show returns to tickle your eyeballs with best in contemporary art and design! The concert poster is a fascinating bridge between disparate but oddly similar art forms: inherently (or is that arguably?) invisible music and inherently visual art. In a translation from audio to visual (and then back to music again as the viewer hears songs emanate from the screen-printed poster!), these poster artists brilliantly convey anything from the essence of a musician to an overview of their body of work to a virtual transportation into the real or imagined worlds within which they make their art. And all with “simple” ink on paper on poles...

This year we exhibit limited edition silk-screened posters from all three edition of 2009! And we couldn’t be prouder…the works on the walls of ArtLife can stand up to anything found in any gallery in the world in terms of looks, smarts and effort!
