SLATES was formed in late 2008 by four friends with roots deep in Edmonton’s music community. Currently consisting of James Stewart (guitar/vocals), Lee Klippenstein (bass), Stefan Duret (guitar) and Dallas Thompson (drums), SLATES have released three seven inches and two full-length records, most recently 2011’s Prairie Fires (Handsome Dan Records).
