Bio
Writing about the Breeders is kinda tough. If you like them (and you should) there's nothing I can tell you that you don't likely already know. If you don't know who they are, well you're probably not even reading this. Instead you're likely listening to the latest priapic neo-grunge on CRAD 109 while installing ground effects on your F-250. But if by some random chance you're about to use this page to clean your dipstick and paused to read this, I'm giving you the Reader's Digest version: The Breeders is fronted by Kim Deal of the Pixies. She wrote some of the Pixies most memorable and popular songs. The Breeders made some of the best 'alternative' records of the 90s including the outstanding Last Splash featuring the huge hit Cannonball. Oh and here's a reference you'll get. Kurt Cobain of Nirvana said of the Breeders: "The main reason I like [The Breeders] is for their songs, for the way they structure them, which is totally unique, very atmospheric. I wish Kim was allowed to write more songs for the Pixies, because "Gigantic" is the best Pixies song, and Kim wrote it."
